Oi! I resemble that remark! 
I assure you my LP10 is set to the regulation 500 gram weight, or so the nice chap I bought it off told me. He said it's set for 300 grams 1st stage and 500 2nd stage. 
I'll take his word for that; basically it's so good I haven't dared to fiddle with it. But it kind of illustrates my point about PCPs and SSPs.
