    Scouts & help for heroes

    Guy & Girls,

Whilst i know a lot of us already support this cause I'd like to point your attention to this, copied directly from our Explorer leaders email, if you feel you'd like to help please follow the links at the bottom.

    Cheers

    Martin

    Dear All,
Firstly, apologies if you feel this email is a bit of a bolt out of the blue, I am in the process of trawling through the County and District websites for e mail addresses in order to maximise the expose, please read on.

Snowdon Explorer Scouts are Hiking 4 Heroes on their Summer Camp in Cumbria 2009.
Our Scouts will be walking a 60 mile section of the Cumbria Way between 23rd - 28th August in aid of the 'Help for Heroes Charity'.
This is a non political charity that provides help for wounded & injured British Servicemen & Women.

Attached to this email are links for our Snowdon Explorer Scout website and Just giving / donation website.
On the Snowdon website you will find information regarding the hike and other activities that the Unit are involved in as well as another link to just giving and a link to an online Blogg, network coverage allowing, we intend to post photo's and updates along the way.

They are dedicating the majority of their annual summer camp to this event, it will be a pretty challenging event and we expect that on some occasions the Scouts will have to "dig deep" within themselves to complete it.
Could you please also dig deep and sponsor our Scouts for this very worthwhile cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks to those who have already pledged money or made a donation.
Please feel free to pass this e mail on to any friends or collegues who you think would be interested and please visit our website.
