    Cheers Jim

Just had a gander on metcheck.com and the CV6 postcode is not looking to bad, just light rain for the day add to that the month of the year and well, Mays weather will seem a far cry from October

But it could be a hell of a lot worse! At least we will be shooting under cover and if the predicted light rain don't materialize, then all the better

Fat chance of that Jim, it was cracking the flags at the May meet!

The best we can hope for is fine and dry and not too cold or windy - fingers crossed on all of 'em. We will be mostly raising, er, several glasses to absent friends; namely you and your good Lady, both post and apres shoot.

To Jim and Jan... chink... glug... hic...

I am bringing a double burner stove, kettle, coffee percolator etc. and have made up some soup and a chilli (not hot ) to keep the campers warm

But for breakfast you can never go wrong with bacon sarnies

For me and my good lady it will be a sausage & egg bagel and latte from Mcdonalds across from the hotel, eaten on the way to the meet as usual.

We're always on the last minute.

Another negative contribution the US made to the UK's culture.

By the way, speaking of culture, do all of you know the joke about Canada?

Of all the countries in the world, Canada was the best situated. Why so? Because they had access to 1) American know-how. 2) British politics. 3) French culture.

And what did they end up with? 1) British know-how. 2) French politics. 3) American culture.

Thanks, Mike! We'll try to "be there" via a webcam hook-up at about 0730 our time, 1330 yours. Won't be able to spend too much time on it, though, as we're facing a typically busy weekend.

Nearly packed, setting off in a few minutes hopefully. See you all tomorrow, and probably see some of you in the hotel bar.
