Diana series 70
Hi Gents
My brother in law dug out from his garage a Diana 70 Mod 75 in .177 in its original box. the gun is in good condition for its age, there are a few very small scuffs on the caramac coloured stock, nothing much.
Gun cocks nicely but I didnt want to fire it without a breech seal.
open sights are still there & working, breech seal on cylinder is missing..
All the blueing is there as well but it does have surface rust, not pitted..
Could somebody give me / him an idea of its worth today..
I think he wants to eventually sell it.
Thanks
Will..

A standard reply would be that it is worth what anyone would pay for it, but that is somewhat flippant. As far as I know Diana produced several rifles in the 'Series 70'. They were basic junior rifles that were quite adequate for plinking etc. My guess, and I am sure I will be corrected by those more expereienced than me, would be that your rifle could be worth £60 at most (in good condition) and, depending on the condition, maybe only £30 - £40.
I hope this helps.
Cheers, Phil

Hi Phil
Thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated.
This is the model 75 from the 70 Series. Looking at it I would have thought it was for junior shooting.
