Slipped disc + the dommie going fzzzt combined to give me a dnf... still had good fun with Daniel and Nick both doing well and at least I could finish the course as scorer ;-)

...now zonked out on Diazepam and codeine and my back has subsided to a dull thudding

Thanks to Nick Botting for helping me up and down and passing me the rifle etc in my delibillitated state... and for making Daniel laugh so much!

Nice course though & the usual tricky wind in the field.
See you in 2 weeks @ Horsham..
Doesn't matter how many times you shoot our field.. (or the EVIL Field next one up), you never get used to it...Savage even in a light breeze!

Fair play to anyone that got mid 50's
As for Oakie junior Spencer getting 55 plus his points, giving him a 59...That is special....Bit like Chris, he is special!!

No burgers, who cares? I got stuffed on three doughnuts and I haven't had that many in ages!

Good course set by the oakies and cunning use of an air show to add to the wind. Typhoon, Red Arrows, bi-planes, Spitfire & Hurricane were almost enough to get me throwing my rifle away to just watch the aircraft.

That seemed to be a common desire, .... almost wish I had.
