I have just the tap and one small screw and cant make head or tail of the diagram on chambers site
could anyone tell me what I will need to complete this gun perhaps?

There should be a quadrant plate which fixes into the slot on the tap with the screw.

The chamfers on the plate must face inwards.

You will see a hole in the action under the plate and this is where there should bea spring with a ball bearing on top. This acts as a detent and bears on the chamfers on the plate to give a positive lock with the stap open or closed.

The underlever pulls/pushes a slide backwards when cocking and on the fore end of the slide is a pin which engages the quadrant and thereby opens the tap as the gun is cocked.

    Hope this helps.
    Happy Shooting!! Paul.

If you're still struggling Neil, I could try to take some photos.
