local gunshop has had my RWS Rapier for about 10 months now , just can't get parts, should think they are very similar, best of luck,
Hello all,
This is my brothers gun.
I have a request, is there any experts out there who know how to fix an RWS Excalibur in .22. it is a real old one.
The seals is this gun went and it would not hold air at all, after numerous attempts this has now been fixed and it holds air, but......
is only doing round about 4 ft lbs.
So I have two questions,
1. Is there someone who can fix this permanently.
and
2. Can the barrel be changed for a .177
PLEASE PLEASE:
someone take pity and help put this gun back to work.

Always consider talking to a small engineering company about one off parts if spares are unavailable.
Gunsmithing is engineering (although it comprises lots of bits of different areas of engineering) and not the black art it sometimes appears,

PM sent bud, I have a webley raider which is essentially the same rifle i'm told, I could take a look for you or a mate who knows his stuff with pcp's will get it sorted out
Just a note to say thanks to all who answered or PMd me re this.
My brother is picking it up from one of the referred persons tomorrow and its back in running order.
Many thanks.
