F.S. Apel o/p mount & early Airsporter stock.

On my trawlings of the north west gunshops I have found the following for sale which may be of interest to the collectors:

Apel one piece mount for FWB Sport & Webley Omega/Eclipse. If you remove the cross pin this will fit HWs etc. THE best mount IMO.

Very early Airsporter stock (auto tap mark 1 & 2) stock.

Both of these are at Manchester Air Guns. PLEASE ring them for more details.

    My pleasure.

I was tempted but I have one or two of these mounts. I would have had it if it fitted a BSF65.

I.J. I'm looking for a mint Omega/Sport one too. This one is not mint but I have a home for it on my son's Sport; funnily he wants exactly the same set set up as mine. They do compliment the good looks of the Sport, though they still need a tad of locktight.

??? This mount will fit the Omega, Eclipse and 'Sport and, from the quick look I had at it today, its in very good condition.

If it is near mint then that will be a bonus and my son won't be getting it.

Both are 124 Sports. Mine a MKI with MKIII stock, no open sights, Apel Mounts a an early 4x40 Optima. As simple as you can get. His is a MKII , with Optima Moolighter and moderator (because the end of the barrel had been chewed before), Maccari innards and trigger. They shoot the same and are very quiet in the field for springers. He prefers mine! Maybe because I rarely miss

I'm looking out for a MKIII stock as they are really nice.

Then I have a mint collection including a MKII 127 and Omega.
