Yes,
get an adapter up to 1/2 inch UNF and fit a Hogan Decimeater, you'll fire it & think you're out of air 'till the pellet strikes the target.
PM me if you want an adapter making, I can post you an M10 X 1 test ring first to confirm the thread first,
Regards,
Nick
Good grief, 2009....!
Errr, trying to remember what happened....
No, never got around to doing a shot string, the gun was very new and I think must have been a very early model, anyway it very quickly developed a fault, took it back to the shop, waited 3 weeks for a replacement and the shop owner decided during this time he was going to have nothing to do with Brocock and gave me my money back..! There is a longer story behind it, lets just say I don't go in there any more...
I eventually got something else, real shame as when it was working it was very nice, I keep looking and maybe one day I will buy another.

It’s sometimes best to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid rather than open your mouth and dispel all doubt…
Have had mine three weeks and really enjoying it! Get 35 good shots from a fill to 200bar.
First group after zeroed was 8 shots in .265". Benched if course.
I ended up trading for rrdstarr's Atomic. We'd been talking about me borrowing it while he waited to pick up his pump in the States on a trip soon, but as it turned out he's actually been leaning towards the rifle version, the Concept. So I ordered him one of those and we worked out the difference and he's got that one now.
Anyway, I've had the Atomic in .22" for a bit and received an adapter hose from Best Fittings the other day so I can fill it properly (had been doing a kind of half-arsed buddy fill, using the Brocock quick-release adapter in the gauge hole of my FX pump then screwing in my Pardini pistol's cylinder up top and using the built-in gauge on that cylinder to measure 200bar, then unscrewing the Pardini cylinder, venting the pump for moisture, then taking off the Atomic. A bit silly, and I was slightly under-filling to be safer, but no need to do that any more. The pistol shoots well, takes about a minute to fill up with the pump. I'm getting a different velocity result from what's been reported here and elsewhere. Here's one fairly complete series through an F1 Chrony using 14gr RWS Meisterkugeln:

Thirty shots starting at 200bar and finishing, according to the gauge on my FX pump when I went to fill it again, at about 60bar. Belowthe 372fps there didn't seem much point continuing to measure. I'm unsure if there's something unusual about my Atomic or not, but it's certainly not demonstrating the supposedly 'typical' peaked curve for this type of unregulated PCP, as shown in this thread:

I'd like a curve like that. Seems his Atomic is gradually going up to about where mine starts out then gradually dropping. All I can guess is that perhaps mine, being made 3 to 4 years later, has a different internal setup, perhaps a different sized transfer port. It seems from some posts here and there that Brocock does make variants, some with threaded barrel shrouds and some not for example - mine's internally threaded to 1/2" x 20tpi. I like the pistol, but better consistency throughout the fill would be nice. I've emailed Brocock to ask about whether the upper aluminum extrusion is removable, if the gun can be taken apart by the user... not sure how long to hold my breath for an answer but we'll see. I was asking because of another question actually; the almost knife-sharp edges on that aluminum upper are uncomfortable in handling, almost cut myself a couple of times on the front edges where they come to a point, and I'd like to have it apart to carve all the sharp edges rounded and polish them nicely. A shame to disturb the nice black finish on the aluminum, but a comfortable feeling pistol would suit me better, and I'd rather not risk damaging the blued steel surfaces trying to carve the aluminum in place.
Got it sorted out, my shot string velocity now starts at a senisble level, goes up a bit and stays there for 20 shots, then starts to decline again. Very usable this way. I only had to try various hammer bolt projections from the hammer face. Settled on 7.2mm as being the nicest string, improved somewhat further by adding 6grams of steel to the bolt in the form of two thin hex nuts threaded onto it. The added mass seems to compensate for the shorter valve strike giving slightly longer dwell time, without an excessive blast of air. When the bolt was extended further I was seeing high initial velocities then sharp drops quite early and overall fewer shots per fill - makes sense as it was striking deeper at the valve and probably bouncing a bit as shots sounded louder and of longer duration. The projection as it came to me was around 12mm if memory serves but I forgot to measure it.
Rifles came before the pistols as far as I am aware, same units shorter barrels for pistols,
Now have an Atomic in .177 fitted with a moderator to correct muzzle flip, (Swift Stumpy and adaptor)
200 bar load gives 30 rounds with ease, had a bad front sight and a countersunk rearsight
for some strange reason???
These are now sorted, have added more Brococks,
also have a Brocock Sentinel 21 anniversary no: 80 out of 100 in .177
and a Brocock Specialist in .177,
So with the Aimex GP I have four,
All deadly,
Brocock and emails don't mix, no reply's for more than a month so will be registered envelope job
to have the front and rear sight replaced with proper ones as I am using my GP ones for the Mo,
Cheers All,
Bernard.
I was mulling over the posts that said some people had problems with red fibre optics,
And found that they were lacking for myself as well,
So I replaced it with a green one,
Wow! can see the new one much better!!
Perhaps it is an old Git! issue? I will be 70 late next year, but there is much improvement in visibility,
Used a green fibre optic from a set contained in a small keyring drum,
Sadly I have no idea where I got them apart from in a bunch of barter bits?
Hope this helps,
Bernard.
I've been thinking about buying a second hand saxby and palmer revolver. The one that uses the air cartridges that look like an actual bullet. Does anyone know the muzzle velocity on these air pistols??
