    tmr to fine
    lrx to busy
    hawke sr just plain bizarre
mildot not good in high wind
    scb mtc perfect!!

obviously i think the viper is the way forward but i think theres an even field of rets being used so its whatever takes your fancy really. for what its worth ive put them below in what i think is their order of usefulness and the scope quality too!

Would love Leup, Burris, EB, Bushnell - all with the SCB ret.

The SCB is without doubt my favourite ret - hate mildots, love the SCB for its help with wind judging, preventing canting, great aim points especially the .75 mildot one

Ahhh Peter...that opens up a whole new thread. I first estimate the distance and then bracket the kill size. It works for me

Are you looking at getting into HFT a little more?...you might be very lucky having the current UKAHFT champion living 20km from you

This does depend on knowing the kill zone size, some sneeky buggers have altered a lot of targets, so bracketing may not help.

True Mark, that's why my estimate by eye goes first and back it up with bracketing. If i get 40 yds by eye and 45yds by bracketing i shoot at approx 42/43 is yds.

    Chris,
if you want to come over and shoot some pellets , allways wellcome
I have 20 ft targets and I can shoot up to 55 meter (+-60 yards)
I have a Daystate MK3 and am looking for the right scope , now it is topped with a BSA 6-24 with + reticle

    Peter
