Hi Garry
The Target is scored
5,6,7,8,9,10
It is a rendiction of the old Webley Red, White & Blue Target.

Paddy.
How are the rings scored on the vintage target?
Is it 4,5,6,7,8,9,10?
Thanks
Garry

Thanks Paddy. The one I printed out doesn't have the rings marked with the scores, incase anyone thinks I'm more stupid than I really am.
Hi Garry.
I was sent a target from MarkD >>HERE<< without the scoring numbers on it. I think these are from the proposed Vintage thread. Whereas the ones on the comp website has the numbers on them.

Paddy.

I stand to be corrected, but scoring
OUTER RED RING 5 points
Next inner WHITE RING 6 points
Next inner GREEN RING 7 points
Next inner WHITE RING 8 points
Next inner RED RING 9 points
Next center WHITE 10 points
The very small circle in the centre white is an X RING used when two or more shooters have the same score, the one with most X RINGS is the winner.
Now go get 'em all in the X Ring
Good luck, Phil
Sorry Guys
This one is down to me since I originally produced this WITH a set of rules as part of the .PDF where it tells you that the bull for 10 points is the inner WHITE ring Containing an X ring as Phil G said. The X ring is an OUTWARD scoring ring to help differentiate between good and excellent shots. Think of it as 10.1 points with the extra 0.1 ONLY coming into play as a tiebreaker.
So far I don't need it but I'll keep trying.
Strictly speaking we do not need it as this is an honesty based contest but the target was intended as multi-functional for "live" comps.
I will ammend the .PDF to include this info.
