    Post as a hunter

I have always been keen on the hunting of vermin,These little critters need culling for the sake of our way of life. Does anyone here hunt foxes with a rifle if so what is your success ratio is it worth while with a rifle or would there be better methods ??????????

I'm assuming you mean with a rimfire or centrefire rifle? Best direct your question to the FAC part of this forum, or the Non-airgun section.

As far as I know, and I'm no expert, shooting a fox with an air rifle, even FAC, is frankly a non-starter. Rabbits or smaller vermin, yes. But not a fox.

A Sapper is someone who quenches your thirst if you require a drink in the desert. If you need to cross the fastest river he will bridge that gap, and if the path ahead is too much to bear, the Sapper will guide you through holding your hand. UBIQUE is his motto - for he and his family have been everywhere.

Never try using an air rifle to shoot Foxes, it is totally inhumane, use a Centrefire rifle, correct tool for the job

Hounds don't wound or cripple Bullets certainly do! And not all of them have toffs following them on gee gees look at the fell packs. The foxes do kill lambs/sheep and there is no other way to find them on them fells other than hounds.
