Diana Series 70 Model 71 in the Box

Continuing my attempted airgun/shooting gear clearout.

Another one of them rare Dianas , mind you I've only ever seen one other one as well as mine.

In the manly .22 cal, date stamped on the stock, 6 76 6, which I imagine is the 6th June 1976.

The metalwork/bluing is near perfect. There is even some quite nice grain figuring for a beech stock.

It's obviously only been little used and there are some light scratches in lacquer coating of the stock, nothing deep, but for a 34 year old rifle it's in exceptional condition.

The box has seen better days, but it's mostly there and has that nice 70's appeal. The Diana medallion is nice touch as well, there is a chunky metal trigger blade, most Dianas of this vintage had plastic ones.

The open sights are all present and correct.
