Boxed BSA Scorpion Air Pistol For Sale

Yes the pistol, not the modern rifle. Very clean example of a .22 Scorpion. RB prefix to serial number, which is in the 19,000s. Plastic rearsight is original and undamaged. Clear gold finish to trade stampings on cylinder. Action cocks and fires with plenty of poke. One strange thing about this pistol is the first shot of a string takes a lot more effort to cock than succeeding shots. The effort comes in when you break open the pistol for loading and really have to put some welly into breaking the pistol. Anyone else experienced this? Not a fault as such but worth pointing out all the same in case the buyer thinks the action has jammed, which it hasn't.

Box is complete with some wear to edges but otherwise fine. Accessories include the essential plastic cocking aid, empty oil bottle, a pack of correct target cards, instruction leaflet and foresight hood. There is some wear to the bluing near the muzzle, presumably where the cocking aid has been fitted and removed.

£140 F2F or can post @ Buyer's expense. PRICE REDUCED TO £110 POSTED

The cocking lever guide is fitted incorrectly. It's plastic/polyurothane (Probably the wrong spelling ). It will may need replacing. Easy job if you know what you are doing. Does the safety work ok ? If not , the safety catch was in the wrong position before re-assembly.
    Both are easily fixed.
    Hope this helps.

In view of the possibly incorrectly fitted cocking lever guide, I'm reducing the price to £110 posted.
