    I always thought fitting one to a MK1 or MK2 Airsporter would have been interesting as the automatic loading tap would have indexed the drum and loaded the pellet and a spring could have been used to close the tap as the underlever was returned.

    Semi auto springer new for 1947.

    I just found this last night.

    It turns out that BSA did try a rotary magazine on the Airsporter.

    I tried one of these years ago, a mate of mine had one in very good condition at that time (circa 1982)

    I am suprised that BSA did not copy this for their range of underlevers.
