    Era correct mounts for old school tasco/hw85 combo...

    ...as above, I would like some two piece mounts to attach my 4-14x40 tasco to my late 80's hw85k...

    The scope is an early glossy finish model, so would ideally like some era correct mounts for it.

    Anybody got anything or recommend anything that would suit?

    I have posted in the 'wanted' section, but thought maybe a post in the gentlemans corner would help.

    Yeah cheers Ian. Was wanting two piece really as I already have a nice set of one piece, but because my 85 is an early version with the raised scope rail the one piece mounts are a touch long & over hang the rail... if you know what i mean...
    Also they're matt black & don't look right with the glossy scope.

    Wink Mounts

    Kassnar made glossy mounts, but only a thumb wheel locking screw onto the dove tails; which could be nipped up with a coin. Jenny Dipple

    sportsmatch mounts havent changed design for years iirc so that might be an option.

    Correct. Sometimes you can make things too complicated.
    The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
