When I first spoke to Mark it was over the pellet monopoly that the big boys in the airgun world had manipulated. We were looking at starting up a factory that was up for sale in Merseyside that used to make pellets only when Mark made enquiries it was that run down it would have needed a great deal of money and effort to make it a viable business so it was scrapped, but he was always looking for ways to help because he was that sort of guy.

He will be sorely missed by all.

Marks passing has put a huge dent in the bbs, the effect on his family must be immense. Never met him ,but one of lifes top blokes, one of those characters who puts the middle finger up to adversity, the world will be a lesser place without him.

Have just logged on for the first time today and seen this, I can hardly believe it.

A bloke I'd never met but have a huge amount of respect and admiration for. He will be sorely missed and will no doubt leave a big hole both here and in peoples lives.

I missed the toast earlier so I raise my glass now to mark.

    Rest in piece mate

I never had the pleasure of meeting, Mark, but I did communicate with him through the BBS on several occasions. He clearly possessed immense charisma and character which was felt by all myself included. Terrible loss indeed, the World will miss him.

Thanks Graham for posting yesterday on my behalf.
I am truly devastated by the news. I have today written to Rachael (sp) expressing my sadness and good wishes to her and the rest of the family.
Mark will be sadly missed for a long time. His willingness to help anyone as well as his irreverent humour made him one of the very best on the bbs.
Rest easy you silly old $od. You must be looking down thinking what a funny old world you left behind.
