I never got to meet Mad Mark but have had much amusement over the years reading his threads. He will be very much missed on this forum.
I never met Mark, or really had any dealings with him on the forum, but I am deeply saddened to hear that he's died. He really was a character and I always enjoyed reading his posts.

Unbelievably sad news, although we never met it was obvious to all that Mark was a man of ousanding bravery, courage and humour, his oulook on life was spot on and his dolls head phrase always raised a smile, the world has lost a legend and this bbs will be a lesser place wihout him,
Condolences to his family and friends, RIP Mark

Sorry to see this. My thoughts are with his family.
shocked at news of Marks death, not been on here a lot lately so only just found out. Met Mark a few times and done a few deals with him and spoke to him not too long ago about his microlight.
This place wont be the same without him.

You shoot me in a dream and you betta wake up and apologise.... Mr White 1992
I've just got back from a trip abroad to find this - what a shock... May you rest in peace Mark...
I'm gobsmacked !
This site has lost a true rock who was an inspiration to many. It was only last Sunday that I saw a microlight flying over the archery field ( Burscoe ) and wandered if it was him, the things he achieved despite the loss of his leg was truly humbling.
R.I.P. Mark.

MARK'S POSTS almost always made me smile, but sometimes (socks come to mind) I''ve had tears rolling down my face.
Shocking news.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends at this very sad time.
I couldn't believe it when I read that Mark had passed away.
Only ever met Mark in person once while we were at the North Wales Shooting School.
What a Character and what a Genuine Helpful, Straight Talking Guy.
Enjoyed reading some his posts on the BBS too.
Our Thoughts go out to Marks family.
