I read this with disbelief. I didn't know Mark other than through his posts which were in a class of their own. The world is much poorer for his loss.

I've been on and off the forum in the past few weeks and have just seen the thread about Marks funeral, well I must say I can't believe what's happened, I feel really sad now that I've just found out, I never really ever spoke too Mark but remember reading some of the most entertaining and amusing things on this very forum.

He'll be sadley missed, RIP mate.

Been off the board for a while, returning only a few days ago.....

Almost literally stumbled across this, first thinking there must be some mistake?

I've read the thread stunned and in complete disbelief.

I'm late, but my condolences to MARK's friends and family. I'm sure his passing will have left a hole in their lives that'll be hard - if not impossible - to fill.

I spoke to him at least once on the phone, for quite some time if I remember ... Sincere, and daft as a bag of spanners.

We'll all miss him. May he Rest In Peace.

Like Baldie, I've been away for a bit and just seen this. What a sad loss, one of the BBS greats who was generous enough to share so many of his private joys and pains if he thought it might help others by way of insightful information or lift the spirits with a bloody good laugh.

    You will be missed.

I didn't know Mark other than as a poster on here, but he came across as a very open & honest guy. Condolences to his family and friends.

Thinking just a little positive (if it's possible in such circumstances), he did at least fly, which IMO is one of the major sensations we humans can experience.

Great bloke, totally without malice, it was an honour to be called "Doll's Head" by such a guy.
