I had the honour of calling this man my friend, at this moment in time my faith in the almighty is in question. Everything Mark tried he achieved, he truly was an insperation to all who knew him. An amazing and wonderful guy.

I'm just glad that I had the chance to let him know how much his friendship meant to me and I loved him as the brave, giving, thoughtful person he was.

I wish I could write more but here and now I am still trying to make sense of it.

He was my friend pure and simple I was only a phone call away. Why didn't he phone me or any other number of us, Nige, Cliffy, James etc etc etc he was loved by all who knew him, infact it was impossible not to love Mark, he was that type of guy.

Cliff cannot get online at present but is as devastated as me, I've just phoned him at work and like me and no doubts all who knew Mark, he wishes to pay tribute to a very special and brave man that we both had the true honour to class as a friend. Now he is gone our lives will be that much the worse for his absence, but I FOR ONE WILL NEVER FORGET HIM.

    My God!

We had some really nice chats over the phone, unfortunately we never met but I remember when I first joined the BBS in 2006 he was the first guy to pm me and tell me how to set my account up properly.

He was a top, top bloke-RIP buddy

Bloody Hell, what a shock and this is really sad news
What a nice man mark was He would always ask me how Michael was doing and remember when he wanted to fly Michael in his flying lawn mower and i was worried, he went and asked his instructer to take me up aswell.

So we both would be flying at the same time and he said we can keep in radio contact with each other, thats the type of man he was.

I hope if/when Marks family read this thread they will see how much we all cared for this dolls head of a man.

RIP Mark, you will be missed

F.... me I am absolutely and utterly numb, I don't know what to say ? I never met him in the flesh but we have had several very long phone calls I'm gutted totally gutted, and heart broken, he helped me to come to understand some thing I was struggling with and supported me once when I felt alone, we where supposed to meet a few times but some thing else always got in the way, I feel as though I have missed out now. He was quite a character and a good man and the world was a better place with him in it. I feel devastated for rach and the kids and for anyone who was close to him as we have lost a special person who inspired many people with his wit and strength of character.
he will be truly missed god bless you mate
