    Walther LP53 Boxed Early Model

Walther LP 53 Boxed with manual, correct spare sight elements, brass clearing rod and spare seal. The wooden cocking aid is missing. The box and all the contents are in superb condition showing very little signs of use.The pistol is an early version with what appears to be a black enamel finish to the barrel and a fine black crackle finish to the receiver. I would date this pistol around the mid to late 50's The grips, sights, screw heads and crackle finish are all in pristine condition. The only flaw is to one side of the barrel finish where it looks as though something has got onto the finish and lifted it in small spots. It is the only flaw in an otherwise pristine LP53. Fitting a walther barrel weight to it would hide, if not cure the problem. The trigger is superb to use and the action snaps shut like a quality sidelock!

The price is £270 posted in the UK
