    Diana Mod25 stock query

    Hi Chaps. Just bought a nice Mod25 off of 'Springfieldm6', real name Luke, and it's a very nice example. My question is, what finish would be standard on the stock? It's currently in varnish, which doesn't look at all bad, but I was wondering if this is how it left the factory?
    Also, its missing the top part of the rear sight which I would like to replace if anyone has a spare they'd like to part with.

    Anyone? I might be tempted to strip and oil it if it's a non factory finish.
