    Nope no scoring at all, it's almost pristine

    I'm not convinced this barrel hasn't been like this since it was built either. The barrel itself is straight as a die but cants to the left by 2mm So I'm going to give it to our resident gunsmith tomorrow and let him cast an expert eye over it

    Sad truth is webley quality controll in the eighties was a bit suspect to say the least, the number of Vulcan/Victor or Excels I have been asked to "square up" shall we say is shocking, the biggest mismatch on the break actions was in the drilling of either the breech pivot or the breech lock up pins, you then ended up with a rifle that locked up solid, but the barrel was pointing either upward or downward!
