Hello
I have aquired this mod1 air pistol and would like to know that is used
to cock it, I have used pair of grips to cock it and it fires very smoothly
it also has a small screw in the front of the grip if anyone can tell me
what this is for as air pistols are not my thing and any idea of value as i
may sell on the other site

The pistol originally came with a bent bit of metal as a cocking aid, very, very rare to find the gun with one.

Not a brilliant pic but the best I can do on a Sunday morn with a hangover.
The small screw is for trigger adjustment. Pistol is circa 1925 to 1935.
Value depends on condition etc but I had a job selling one on here last year, I think it went for £65 in the end.
