I`ve just picked up one of the above and would appreciate any info. Its in .177 and is a recoiless spring target pistol, beyond that, I have no idea. What years were these produced and expected fps would be a start.

If you Google Feinwerkbau ( Westinger & Altenburger ), find their web site you can download a copy of the FWB 65 manual on a PDF file. the site is in german however there is a translation facility on the right hand side at the top.

Velocity can be up to 500 ft/sec with Hobbies, perhaps even more with the 7grain RWS R10 wadcutters

congrats freewind,got one of these myself.beautifully made ,super accurate pistol,will never sell it,these were an olympic standard pistol in their day.most possibly the best spring powered recoiless pistol ever made,hope you enjoy it as much as i do mine ..cheers..greasemonkey
