Sussex armoury did the Jackel with a woodstock option and also a Jackel Match with a woodstock plus the short barrelled woodsman .

    I await the picture

    cheers

That would make it a Sig Hammerli 400 series sidelever, the rifle which Sussex Armoury copied and beefed up to make the less-good Jackal/Hi-Power range.

.... and HAMMERLI on the action? If so, it could be a Hammerli.

Looking at it now, not like any shown

Ok its a bullpup, sidelever cocking, loading port like a HW77, so has sliding piston, wooden butt and forend but plastic grip, foresight is about 2 inches higher than bore to match rearsight which sits on high forend, this is all to make sightline as its a bullpup, and very Military looking

it has a lever on opposite side to coking arm which needs to be depressed to allow cocking, at the very rear it has a plastic cap covering spring block which looks like its off an early Meteor, and it has an adjustable butt pad which looks original, .....wheres me bloody camera

A few pics would have made for a good competition

Baz my old friend. Think what you have there is one of the (better) Chinese imports of the 1980s, as sounds by the verbal description, to be very similar to just such a beastie . Can't wait to see the pics ... Atb: G.

Didn't Titan import these things. Titan 800 seems to ring a bell.

It's a QB57 takedown rifle for poachers and bad people!

I think they still make it, but its not imported because of the ultra-discerning British airgun market. Also, it looks like a Rayleigh Shopper bike that got dropped in a garbage compactor. Possible the ugliest gun ever, with the exception of the Theoben Rapid and any member of the Daystate family.

    Here you go....

People could import them to make their own rifles look prettier by comparison I suppose. It would make a Webley Vulcan look like Kate Moss.
