    Swapping barrel on hw30s

    What would be the best way to convert my .22 to .177, or even .20?

    1. Buy it from Chambers for £60 then sell old nearly-new barrel?

    2. Buy a .177 HW30II and swap barrels then sell .22 HW30II?

    3. Import an R7 .20 barrel from the USA? Is this legal?

    4. Phone up Hull Cartridge?

    5. Learn German and get one off eGun?


    It's doing my head in. Perhaps No.1 is the easiest way of dealing with it ... I wonder, would they import the (Beeman model) 0.20 barrel? I think 0.20 is probably the best calibre for this little rifle.
