    BSA Mercury 2 Trigger

My recently aquired Mercury 2 has a trigger action that is so heavy it is more like a Cadet ! Before I start twiddling with the two screws, can anyone help with a copy of the instruction book please, or even just the trigger adjustment details ?
    Cheers

    Trigger

Just dug out a rough copy of a mk6 airsporter which I think is the same trigger set up.
It says that trigger weight is increased by turning the screw "item 54" (thats the one at the front of the trigger)clockwise and vice versa. "The trigger stop screw (item 56- rear one) controls the engagement between the sear and trigger. Turn clockwise to decrease engagement or anti-clockwise to increase engagement"
I hope that is of some use.

If you take the rifle out of the stock you can plainly see what screw does what. You can then cock the sear (TR028)NOT the rifle and set the trigger by trial and error.

    THIS may be of help.
