    ASI Paratrooper repeater

Been given an old Asi Paratrooper repeater just like the one I had as a boy!! in 1978!!! but in a very sorry state , want to refinish the metle work barrle / cylinder ect need to fully get down to the bare metal any suggestions ? wire wool ect? and then reblue are the DIY cold blueing kits any good? then need a few spares piston washer breech seal ect any leads? then the biggie!! the main stock in cracked where the rear bolt securing the cylinder to the cast (body/stock). anybody got one thay want to sell or got any lead as to where I can find a replacment? or will this project be too costley?
Loved my paratrooper to bits years ago and always regretteted swaping it for my mates raligh chopper!!!

    Cheers
