    Umerex Smith & Wesson

    Hi

Advice please. A friend has just bought a new CO2 revolver which seems reluctant to fire with Hobby pellets but is OK with Air Arms. I would have thought the opposite. When the loaded magazine is pushed back into place the small release latch is reluctant to slide back to its forward position. Both pellets are flush with the back face of the magazine so is it that Air Arms are softer and have a smaller skirt? Pellet suggestions welcome.

    Thanks

    Ian

Push them into the mag with a biro (or similar technical piece of shooting equipment) - dont have the skirts flush

I shoot Hobbys & Gecos without problem ....

    Cheers

Another vote for Gecos here, no feed problems and cheap too.

Does it work best with a particular pellet nose shape?
I discovered one of my Smith & Wesson frames had a timing issue, I detected this with a length of brazing rod down the barrel, I could catch the edge of the mag proving a timing issue,

    Nick
