It does, but the key thing about it for me, the Unique Selling Point, is that it is single or multi-pump. If what I've read is to be believed, 1 stroke for around 3 ft.lbs, 2 for about 4.5 and 3 for 5 ft.lbs.
Multi-pump pistols in the past, like the Crosman, just about get a pellet out of the barrel on one pump, needing at least 2 or 3 to get a usable velocity.

The Alecto's original guise was as a 'Zoraki' from 'Atak Arms' of Turkey.

Hi Adam
So how come my C130 is currently leading the Vintage shoot?Multi-pump pistols in the past, like the Crosman, just about get a pellet out of the barrel on one pump, needing at least 2 or 3 to get a usable velocity.

Jim, your incoming has acquired the wrong target!
It was Jim McA who said about multi-pumps being toys, not me!
I merely said the pellet barely gets out of the barrel with one pump, which was true of both the Crosmans I used to own (1377 and 1322). Velocity with one pump was about what you could get by throwing a pellet. If you were prepared to do the hard work of 10 pumps you could get 5.5 fpe but it's a lot of work for one shot. The Alecto seems to address that big drawback.
