    HFT Help!

I was looking at the UKAHFT Website as I might give HFT a go with my son. I read the rules and it said:

"3 x prone only shots using any size hit zone, distances in accordance with the above limits.
    2 x supported standing shots, 35-45mm un-obscured hit zones at 8-35yds.
    1 x unsupported standing shots, 35-45mm un-obscured hit zone at 8-35yds.
    2 x supported kneeling, 35-45mm un-obscured hit zones at 8-35yds
    1 x unsupported kneeling shot, 35-45mm un-obscured hit zone at 8-35yds."

Sorry if this is a silly questions but what shooting position do you take the other shots from? I can only count 8 positions above when there should be 30!

Also, Where would the closest club be to Hereford/Abergavenny?

Cheers Ryan! When you say freestyle, Do you mean the course setters (designers) choose?

If you can see the target while touching the peg, make it easy for yourself and shoot it prone.

Those designated positional shots are simply part of the rules and must be included in a UKAHFT set out course.

    Hope that helps.

If its not marked as a Kneeler/Stander/Prone then it can be taken in any of those three stances, most of us take em prone as we like rolling around in the mud

No, the shooter chooses how they think it's best to shoot. UKAHFT courses all targets bar discipline targets are usually shootable from the prone position.

Yep, actually its 24 cos anyone that takes a stander when he can go prone is either unable to get up/down due to a handicap or a sick twisted individual who probably enjoys pulling the wings off flies

HFT is either standing kneeling or prone. (supported or un-supported standers depend on if the lane states it or not)
FT have more as far as im aware but having never taken part i dont know.
