Best optic for FT

Wondering which is the best optic for Field Target and I'd like to see explanations as well.

depends on budget really.

sub £250 the old tasco custom shops takes a lot of beating with its jap optics and reliabilty.best go for 1 with the best sidewheels(john harris wheels are lovely) and oversized top turrets as these will affect the value and its essential to check the side focus for backlash but over £350 the big nikko is very good(fancy 1 of those).

you do have the deben DMP scopes and they are quite popular,there is also the bsa big 60's and early big nikko's(same scope iirc under different name and different ret).
