Marksman 29 info and value if any please!

Hi Chaps,
I have come across a Marksman 29 .22 rifle that fires well despite having part of its (very complicated) cocking arm broken. The metalwork is in need of some TLC. I have never heard of this brand although the chap who owns it thinks its from America?
On the whole the rifle has been a well made item and feels good to hold. Is this item worth anything? I have told him I doubt its worth much but might be of interest to a collector.
