    Round 2 Results

    Hi all.

Sorry for the delay. I put the extension on the competition as the AirgunBBs had an announcement that the site would be shutting down until Tuesday, to which didn't happen?

I have had to do a Forefit Score for one competitor who didn't put the score in within the extension. The way I've done it is put in the 10 lowest scores within the round. Because the way the scoring & judgement style of this competition it can benifit you if you actually don't submit a score. So I think this is the overall all fairest way for everyone. Call me a Devious Diplomat.

However, with that said the Forefited shooter isn't last on the leader board & the way this shoot goes, it can still turn around on the 3rd & final round.

So weldone to the shooters that take part with two shooters hitting all 10 segments cleanly

We have joint first & with following count back on missed segments they are also have the same of two misses.

Without further ado here is the >>RESULTS<<

    Regards
    Paddy.

    That's better

Hooray, first off I'm off the bottom, secondly I'm nearly in positive figures

It can only get better from here on in, can't it Why do I have this sinking feeling. I've probably jinxed it now

    Someone throw us a line

Once again, many thanks Paddy for running this comp

    Happy Xmas everyone.

This comp is so Paddy, where else can you be 8th and shoot the 2nd round and jump to joint FIRST. I love it

Well Done Paddy it's so insane you can't not like it.

    Thanks Jason, I think

It is quiet good, now for the next round, even I could win it. If my Judgement is right & yours will be wrong . Now to mirror what Paul typed, I hope I haven't jinxed myself

Hmm!, still hanging on just outside the top three...
...an Ideal striking off point for victory

who am I trying to kid?, this could go any way yet.

I reckon the one to watch is that Jan McArthur, the only one with two clear rounds and currently lying third. What say we ask Jim to put a crimp in the barrel of that Smith before the next round

I still can't work out why this competition is so much fun, but it is

Nice one Paddy, thanks for doing this, I will toast your health tomorrow with a Hobgoblin (or three), merry Christmas.

Thanks Jef & Merry Christmas to you to

I think the comp is so much fun is because it takes out the certenty of who the better shots will win. So we ALL come in with an even chance. As it is mainly on the persons judgement & not the persons ability.

I know a few people raised this as an issue but there are plenty of competitions where your ability is paramount, so this is one is different & unique to my knowledge anyway.

    Regards
    Paddy.

I would if it were hers: but it's mine. With which she regularly outscores me!

    Jan McArthur

I've told you guys before about her.
At the May 09 meet she picked up my Smith with the 8 inch barrel. Had a quick look at the full size PPC target, shot 90+ handed me the gun back and said " Nice. But a little to heavy for me."
    Yeah Right!

Glad to see you're back on, Jim!

Yes, you're right about Jan: she has natural shooting ability. She's only started shooting in the past few years: never even held a gun, other than taking a few shots with her Dad's as a kid (she thinks it was a .22 rifle) until 2005.

    Hi Guys.

I've not opened the emails yet as I want to shoot mine first.

That way I'm not influenced in what other people have aimed for.

As soon as I've shot my target I will, do my usual replies.

    Regards
    Paddy.

Mine is in too. Nine scoring shots this time. Doing quite well until the very last shot, I had a group of three adjacent segments at the bottom to aim at, easy peasy I thought, bound to hit one of those,
    .... and got two

    Now we wait
