I think it's a BSA Supersport seal Carl. You may have to turn it down a little to get it to fit.
I read somewhere a BSA piston seal will fit a FWB Sport
Which model BSA seal do I order ??

Carl

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
You can get standard ones off y-bay from a shop in Canada or really cool ones from Maccari in the USA. Neither very expensive and they both pop on without modification.
Hi I recently got one of these to try (supersport seal) and there was quite a bit to remove but when TopDog tried to machine it the seal seemed to be slightly oval shaped making it difficult to get it perfectly round to my mind it was quite soft too compared to the original seal. I would advise getting a proper one if possible it would be a lot easier
The best - ok so it's £20 but it is superb -

Agree Steve. The compound was very soft and I wonder if it was a pucker BSA seal! It was not "machinable" due to flexibility and was reduced in diam with abrasive sheet but it wobbled like jelly (a bit of an exaggeration but you get the picture!)!
Will only use FWB seals - which I see you've found now - in refits of Sports now!
These problems are not confined to FWB seals either or even seals; have had similar probs with springs and guides!
