Can any of you chaps help a man out? I got hold of a 1955 Diana model 15 today with the intention of mates lad trying it tomorrow and having it in a few weeks. However it was not very powerful (even for one of these) and the barrel was not locking up very well. Upon stripping the gun, a small piece of what seems to be a bit of leaf spring came out of the cocking arm. It looks like this bit of spring is bent up to stop the plunger type thing coming too far forwards? Anyhow I dont think the leaf spring thing comes out as it seems to be a part of the cocking arm. Has anybody got one they can let me have? (I dont really want a complete scrap gun but would consider it) Has anybody out there repaired one of these or can suggest a fix?
Thanks for any help. The gun was only £25 posted so I dont want to try to get a new cocking arm unit from Nibbs or Chambers if they do them.
