    What's the serial number ?
The prices obviously vary according to condition, but a starting figure for an average, original finished used rifle is around £450.
When you say it has the adjustment screw, is this projecting from the front of the trigger block, or underneath ?

That means it must be a fairly early one.
Is there any etching on it, as per these pictures:

The serial number is at the end of the right side of the trigger block, and should be repeated on the inside of the barrel pivot block, visible only when rifle is cocked.

Faint traces of etching on LH side, but no other. Will check the serial number.

Well, I went to see this again, and was umming and erring when the owner said 'it came in this box' and handed me a near perfect original brown cardboard box with the embossed trade mark! Well that decided me, I bought it..... In better condition than I remembered, virtually no original finish, just patination mostly, a few knocks to the side of the reciever, no pitting, engraved patents and trade marks all visible, stock in excellent condition.

Its a later one in fact, serial number 1168 with the number 34 stamped on the end of the reciever in .22. The trigger adjustment screw is on the bottom of the trigger block, though there is also a hole bored in the front of this housing, which had me fooled at first.

Shoots fine, though its a decidely an odd thing to use!

    Mk 1

    Hi Ollie

I think that the box on it's own is probably worth £450 going by the recent auctions!

    Really nice buy there.
