    Original model 5 pistol

    Having just unearthed one of these in my cupboard I plan to refurbish it as a bit of a project. Has anyone any info on these? Also I am looking for a set of rear sights and a new stock as the one I have is damaged its like a green synthetic stock

    Made from about 1960 to 1978 (I think the month/year is stamped on them somewhere), when it was replaced by the 5G which differs largely (only?) in having a new design of frame with separate grips instead of the one piece unit. The initial post war production, still just called the Model 5, originally had a wooden, rather than synthetic, stock.

    You could try www.gunspares.co.uk The spares could be pricey so you could always go for second hand parts, by placing an add in the Wanted section of AirgunBBS.
