hi, just thought i would share with you my hw35k project that i have just finished,
bought this just over a year ago and have been lazy about getting on with it and finishing,, but now its finished (well almost)
the stock was refinished by myself, and the trigger guard and safety catch polished, the metalwork was sent off to colin at M.A.G for re bluing, it didn,t have any sights when i bought it so a set was purchased off here, internally i fitted a bonnie and clyde shotmaster tuning kit, and now its all back together,
i also have a set of two piece mounts and a optima 4x32 scope that i dont know if i should fit or leave it with just the open sights,,, what do you think ??? i was going to fit a nikko platinum 6x45 but it looks a bit out of place
i have forwarded some pics to neil to hopefully post up,(thanks neil ) the quality of the pics isn,t great im afraid,,sorry,, the last thing to do is to fit a rowan engineering trigger blade as the original has the end bit snapped
anyway thats it

Nice one!
Great minds think alike. Heres my efforts.
Its 99% complete. I'm awaiting a stainless steel safety catch to replace the out of place brass button. Im then going to fit a Apel o/p mount with a period scope - something like a Tasco 2-6x20.
Lovely, easy rifles to work on.

Nice job thanks for sharing .....
Lovely job mate, I'm still waiting for my barrels and action to be delivered from the bluers Cant wait as i've changed the piston head, shortened the cocking pin and fitted buttons to the piston in preparation but still no action to fit it into
I'm going with a diopter setup and .177 for some wintertime indoor range use then when the summer arrives it'll be in .22 and fitted with a Nikko 6x40 in gloss black with a lovely blued, one piece mount.
Just made a start on a custom fitted case for it all to keep it nice and snug and the stock is almost finished too after having 1/2 a bottle of tru-oil soaked into it I have the rowan, straight brass blade, a brass safety i made and a brass trigger guard ready to fit also, oh and a special front stock screw, with a sprung loaded delrin tip, to (hopefully) prevent the 35click
I decided a long time ago that i need at least one 35E to keep forever, this one must be it
The next task is to buy some QD barrel bands so i can fit my venom sling to it in a stylish way
Very very green with envy that you have yours now and it really does look the business. ATVB PAUL

hi, sorry for the delay in answering, been away all weekend,
i finished the stock with a kit from william of here, being the std stock with no chequring it was quite easy, ,, very pleased with the results
took about 2 hrs to get stock back to white, then spent the next week applying the various stains and then oil in the kit
thanks for all the thumbs up for the project
and special thanks to mallyally for sorting a trigger blade for me
