    Omega stock inletting....

Morning gentle folk of the collectors section

Does anyone know if the stock inletting and screw holes for an Omega stock are the same for any other Webley models making their stocks interchangeable?

    Cheers Rich.

Hi Rich. It is possible to modify a Vulcan MkIII and/or a Stingray stock to fit with little more than a half-round wood rasp and some sand paper. but you will be left with a gap around the safety. Wood filler and re-finishing can take care of this however, and if you do give it a go, please take some pics and show . Atb: G.

... Glad to've helped. Worth noting here however, that Brum Stingray stocks are ambi, so that may be the way ahead . Atb: G.

Having seen a couple of mint Omega and Vulcan deluxe for sale recently I was thinking the same thing. Omega stocks are generally awful, look like brown plastic.

    Hi POK,

They are not too bad shape & style wise (admittedly the lacquer finish is a bit artificial looking) I was just wondering about a way of making mine more lefty friendly without spending too much. I guess I will keep an eye out for suitable donor stocks
