Some lovely pictures there, thanks for posting these, Tom

This one has me intrigued - can anyone tell me what it is and what the bolt-action thingy on the side is?

It's an HW35 Barrakuda. The bolted on tube is an ether injector linked to the compression chamber to increase combustion and with it the oomph behind the pellet. It did work, but quite upredictably so accuracy suffered. Hence the low numbers built.

As others have said.......brilliant....many thanks for your time and effort

There were some beauties on there, I especially liked the pneumatic pistols styled like percussion guns, and the one with the globe air chamber......when I have time etc. etc.

Also....the fairground airline fed tommy gun brought back some memories!.......were these made by Chicago Pneumatic inc. ???.......now that would be a crowd pleaser at rivi or a similar charity event....I used to chat to the stallholders at a classic fair, and they said these REALLY rattle out the rounds if you crank up the pressure.......they run them slow to allow for their age etc.

Ah yes, I seem to remember a thread on "fuel assisted" guns from a few weeks back. Thanks

Just looking at the 10th photo, a nice selection of Webleys. Does the small card on display not read " please don't handle the TOYS without permission " . Or do I need to get even stronger glasses

No stronger glasses needed mate, did you not know that all airguns are considered TOYS in America, well at least by the the firearm shooters over here.

We are all taken back to childhood when shooting our airguns aren't we, toys for BIG boys.

Glad you blokes are enjoying the pics I took at the show, next vintage meet you have on your side I would love to see some pics of the event.

    Shoot straight my friends...Tom
