    Where the credit crunch hasn't reached yet...

    Been looking to replace my cracked 124 stock for a while...

    i can do that for 20 quid just send me the fwb stock and i will toss it in the fire thats all it looks like the guys done

    A good few years ago, A friend who made grips/stocks etc. and also did hand finishing on rifle actions for a well known maker......told me he had spent some time in london, and was shown round a top makers store of stock blanks......It may have been Boss and Co, I can't remember, but it was a top name......I DO know that he was repeating prices for grade 5 (exhibition) blanks.........That cost well into 4 figures even then.......some were 3 times and more what I had just paid for a 2nd hand, fairly decent Fiat Uno
