Early indications are for good weather on Sunday so hopefully a big turnout at QA. The course might be on the left as you enter, but then again it could be nearer the clouds!!!

A good turnout today @ QA enjoyed an excellent 25 target course very well set out by John & Carol.
When something runs as smoothly as do the events at Quarnford the work that goes into each shoot generally goes unnoticed.
25 targets many of them strung over gullies & the grass, heather & reeds cut down with a brushcutter at every stand represents many hours of work, then dismantling the course, re-painting the targets & keeping the records must take many more hours.
Thank you John & Carol, please show your support by continuing to compete at Quarnford Airgunners.

As well as the main course there are .22 air rifle targets & a pistol course @ Quarnford, these provide an excellent introduction for youngsters or newcomers to the sport.
All the 2011 QA dates at start of thread.
Saw Steve in town today, he wondered if this Sunday's course would be 'The Hill' does anyone know if it will be set???
Hi, this will be our first time to QA and I am unsure about the airgun insurance side of it, or can we just turn up on the day?
Hi there mate
All are welcome to come along and take a look at the great ground at QA.
John (the owner) usually allows a newbie to shoot on their first visit without insurance but after that it is required.
BASA http://www.airgunshooting.co.uk/basa.aspx does the job fine at £17.95 pa.
