It means it will be a challenging enough course to make anything else look easy.

The harder the course the better IMO!

Just not too much wind please and go light on the rain

    Smile *squidge*squelch*squidge*squelch*....

    Okay.... getting warmer now.

Another superb course, thoroughly enjoyed the first half, it was the bit where we were just about to start pegs 16-30 when the heavens opened and the 40mph wind kicked off that rather b*ggered everything up!!
Having left the waterproofs in the car (as it was dry then...) it didn't take long for us to get utterly sodden. We decided to press on as the black clouds in the distance showed no signs of abating. Course finished and a small papermache sculpture handed in as a postmodern interpretation of a score card *ahem* we huddled around a cup of coffee for warmth.
... and then proceeded to grind and nash teeth as the wind cleared and the bright blue sky returned.
    HMPH!!
I must say that mud is a remarkably good insulator once it starts to set. I got into the car looking not unlike morph.
The guns have had another thorough strip and clean to get rid of all the water and forrest and I've just finished washing our clothes. -Was barred from using the washing machine for fear of it getting clogged. For anyone thinking of doing so.... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TUMBLE-DRY ELBOW OR KNEE PADS!!
I did this about a year ago and really should have remembered the trouble it caused.... I just wasn't thinking, so after giving them a good soak and scrub popped them in for a quick spin. I opened the lid to retrieve them and was greeted with the muddy wall-of-death again.... No matter how clean you think they are the centrifugal force will prove you wrong. And the inside of a tumble dryer is blooming tricky to clean.... will find out how successful it was next time its used.... might arrange to be out at that point...

    Lol..

At least you didn't have to sit in a kiln on the M11 for 2 hours

    3 hours home, road closed

Think for once my .22 had more sideways trajectory than downward

Defo in my top 10 of worst weather shooting experiences
