Lea Valley HFT 21-11-09 RESULTS

The weather was very good to us today and didn`t rain until we were all done and dusted, although the wind was tricky at times. John Dove got up this morning and thought "....haven`t said hello at the club for a while, think I`ll go up there and whoop em...." and thats what he did. Roger was in a great position to stop him but blinked in a shoot off.

"BREAKING NEWS" lAITY SCORED OVER 50!
Cant believe John Doves front, strolling in like he owned the place, after 6 months lay off. and winning Well done also to Rog B and all the springer guys.
Laity failed miserably in his boast of " kicking my butt", we all no hes a good shot and clearly doesnt gel with his Steyr, he should take my offer of £5.00 & a packet of fags while i still have the money!
Good course and tricky wind, well done to Mike Carney.

Well done to Mike for setting the course out and to my partners Mr Griggzy and Mr Pies for good company.

Also to John Dove for casually strolling in after a long break (at HM pleasure?), putting up a great score and promptly rinsing me in the shoot off.

The enjoyable shooting was clouded, though, as Andy said, by the news that my good friend John Morgan is going to be up against it over the coming months. He really is a diamond geezer, a top shot and a great asset to our club.

John, you will be in our thoughts and prayers and we will be there for you mate, anytime.
