    Ford Vs Oaks results

Subject to official scrutiny, I am delighted to announce how proud Ford are with their spendid second place in the above extravaganza.

A mere 4 points separated them from the Oaks team.

It would have been an even better result had old Beardie not insisted on using that clapped out old Airsporter instead of sharing the 77 with Rob.

Well done Oakies - great fun - pretty stupendous conditions. We had everything from hail to sunshine along with a very changeable wind.

We will of course have to have a re-match to correct this aberration...

The 77 and Airsporter have had a nice oil bath and are now resting in the warm and dry

Nice to shoot with, and against, some good friends.

The Airsporter was sporting but you probably hoped for more from your loan star Nigel.

You won fair and square. We lost but if it hadn't been for my score I think we won have fairly romped home. Apologies to my team-mates

We shall re-group and return fire! Thanks for the offer of the venue, I shall examine the diary, talk to the range and see what we can come up with. One of your springer days might be a good opportunity - although I would like to be able to host one on home concrete if we can.

Great fun - you had to be there!

Thanks to Terry for the sweetie - and I didn't even offer him a sarnie in return, where were my manners!
