the difference is in the stock! The fore-end is deeper and wider. The pistol-grip is longer and more pistol shaped, allowing for greater control. The butt is protected by a meaty ventilated recoil pad. And there is a Monte Carlo cheek-piece for right-handers, allowing comfortable approximation of the jaw to the butt when on aim.

Not because it is any more powerful or accurate than the ordinary Meteor. Great guns, most people over 40 will have learned to shoot using one of these, they even used them in Army Cadets to train basic musketry.
