    webley service mk 2

i`ve got a mk2 service rifle and need to ask a couple of questions about it
the barrel is stamped 5022 and so is the action behind the trigger
it has a push button barrel release ( so not issue one )
    it has no saftey fitted
bluing is still blue in places but most has now turned brown

i would like to find out the age ect
if any of you are in the know i`ed be greatfull
i`m also looking for the screw/bolt that the barrel pivots on or sizes ect so i can make one
    cheers

Jon there's a potted history of the Mk2 service HERE which I think places your rifle at about 1935-36.

Knibbs might have the joint axis pin. I have a homemade axis pin which I replaced with an original one bought from Chambers (now out of stock). The pin is solid steel and 0.247in or 6.29mm in diameter.
