The Mk 1 has scope rails ! ( Sometimes )
I have 5, or 6, of these & have had many, Bsa , like allways used any parts available !
A couple of times I have had a Mk 1 With scope rails, ( The question you ask is ? How do I know its a Mk1 ) On that, you,ll have to speculate, !

Hi Pat. Pistol and cocking aid arrived today, and am very pleased indeed. Ten mins with the Autosolve and all the fine scratches off the stock have gone, a touch of William's wonder polish on the blue for good measure, and the whole thing is now gleaming like new (wonder if the same polishing trick would work on yours truly to please the mem saab).
